History:
Bloodscream was originally a sawbones for Sir Francis Drake. during an attack, he was wounded with a pistol ball in chest and Drake turned him over to a necormancer named Dagoo. The necromancer enacted a rite that transformed the man into the undead, a vampire.
His first act was to kill Dagoo, but before he did, he learned the secret of the potion that transformed him. He required 'the blood of a man who ageth not'. (Wolverine vol.2 #78 Feb. 1994)
Bloodscream soldiered on through the years until, as a Nazi, he encountered Wolverine for the first time on June 6, 1944 in Normandy. (Wolverine vol.2 #78 Feb. 1994)
He found himself in the employ of General Nguyen Ngoc Coy as an enforcer in the Generals bid to takeover the Madripoor crime scene. Partnered with Roughouse, the two killed Madripoors Chancellor. They also attacked the then current crime-lord, Tyger Tyger in an attempt to kill her, but the presence of Wolverine and the unseen interference of Karma prevented their attempt. (Wolverine vol.2 #4, Feb 1989)
Using the blood bond he had established with Tyger, Bloodsport managed to track her to the safe house belonging to the firm Landau, Luckman and Lake. There he and Roughouse found Jessica Drew, Lindsay McCabe and the firms local expediter, Mr. Chang. (Wolverine vol.2 #5, Mar 1989)
He and Roughouse destroyed the building and Bloodsport drained Chang of all his blood and life-force. The two returned to General Coy at the Royal Palace with the three women. There he began to slowly drain Jessica Drew to make her more docile and agreeable. But he was unable to touch Tyger, who was found to be encased in protective armour. Eventually Tyger, in her possibly alien armour managed to defeat Bloodsport. (Wolverine vol.2 #6, Apr 1989)
Bloodscream, joined with Cylla, tracked Wolverine to the town of Logan, BC. There Bloddscream turned on his partner and drained the essence of Cylla to strengthen himself for the fight with Wolverine. Wolverine and he charged each other, Wolverine wielding the Honour Sword of the Clan Yashida, a weapon originally forged by a demon. When Wolverine struck Bloodscream with the blade, the vampire was destroyed. (Wolverine vol.2 #78 Feb. 1994)
