I wanted to expand my Outdoors, but for some reason, any time I save the new plant files to my Downloads folder, my program has a big messy error. (where it shuts down when i save ) I had this happen before with skins, and objects, but I just moved those to the game folders and they worked fine. So, my question is this : where do i save plants in the Sims, if not the downloads folder?
If you could help, I would appreciate, Michelle |

The only thing that comes to mind is see if the readme that comes with it tells where to put it?

Yeah, the readme was very unhelpful. They only gave me the name and website of the creator. But, I was actually able to solve my problem. I picked up a few new plants off a different site, and put them in my Maxis/TheSims/GameData/Objects folder. I was afraid to do so because I thought I was going to have the plants on the Buy menu instead. Which only a few did, along with my bolders(i am not asking). SO, unfortunately my previous plants were defective, and I can't believe I didn't think of that before. But all's well that ends well. Although the continual trial and error made me think I may have killed my game at one point.
